Art Medicine - an Immersion into Ritual Performance

Join us in 3-Day Immersion in Creative Embodiment and Nature Connection designed to awaken your body’s innate creativity in deep, reciprocal relationship with the natural world.

Rooted in shamanic wisdom and performance practice, we’ll work with the four elements—earth, water, fire, and air—to awaken embodied states that speak with, for, and through nature.

Over the first two days, we’ll be in the studio communing with the sacred medicine of Cacao and exploring Butoh dance, improvisation, movement and voice as gateway to expanded states of consciousness and connectedness. On the third day, we take our practice into nature, offering a ritual performance shaped by deep connection, presence, and spontaneous expression.

Ritual Performance is not about scripted theatre—it is an act of alive presence, where each participant enters a shared field of intention, offering themselves fully to what wants to emerge.

This work is for movers, artists, healers, seekers and anyone called to rediscover their creative life force as an offering to the Earth and the unseen.

Connect with like-minded individuals, learn new techniques, and explore the intersection of art and medicine. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out or, maybe you don't work in the field but you want to awaken your body and creativity, this residency is open to all levels of experience and walks of life. Immerse yourself in a supportive and inspiring environment as you delve into the healing power of art.

This journey is guided by dear sisters from our birds tribe Terra Mirim, two Brazilian artists, healers, and medicine women—initiated in shamanic traditions and grounded in dance, Butoh, and ritual theatre Maga Maya and Kyara Mensie.

What to expect?

  • Develop spatial awareness as a performer, attuning to the body's relationship with space and energy.

  • Open deep body channels of communication with the elements of nature, fostering a living connection.

  • Create a ritualistic offering, drawing inspiration from both the external world and their own inner nature.

  • Learn to transform what arises into a ceremonial act of expression.

  • Craft a handmade costume using elements from nature, connecting body and environment.

  • Cultivate the practice of being fully present in the moment, responding to what is needed, rather than performing a character for the audience.
